We love Hartley Construction.

We recently completed a much anticipated main level renovation at our home in Aurora. Reid Hartley guided us through a huge renovation including new flooring, knocking out walls, a redesigned kitchen, installing a walk out and my favorite unique feature -in floor pot lights.

Needless to say this renovation was nothing less than major, but Hartley Construction always made us feel confident in our decisions and the work being done. They are always on time, extremely professional and continuously keeps in touch- constant communication about what’s going on and what’s coming up! My favourite thing about Reid is how we got to work as a team throughout the entire process. When my design ideas were unperfected or naive, Reid would recreate them to not only make them possible, but make them better. He always seems to be one step ahead.

I am a stay at home mom so I spent a lot of time with Reid’s team. Everyone was courteous and respectful to my home and my family. I have two small dogs who were treated extremely kindly by the boys. I can’t thank them enough for letting me feel confident in leaving them in my home.

My wife and I were looking for a contractor to construct a new deck and wood fence for our property and we received a favourable proposal from Reid Hartley of Hartley Built Construction. After some deliberation, we decided to go with them for the work and are extremely happy that we did.

Reid’s company consists of young, personable, energetic people who are obviously dedicated to producing a high quality product. After discussion of our requirements, Reid produced a design for the deck that incorporates all of the needs we had hoped for.

The workmanship is skillful with more attention to detail than we had expected, and the project was completed on time and on budget.

We are extremely happy with the deck that Hartley Custom Construction built for us. We had a very awkward area around our pool and Reid was able to come up with a design that suited our needs and fell within our budget. We wanted our deck to be ready in time for the summer months. Reid and his crew got right to work and it was finished well before the swimming season started.
